Health & Safety

Our Commitment to Safety

At RA Ceilings, safety comes first—every time.
We take pride in delivering high-quality ceiling and wall installations while protecting our team, clients, and the public.
All work complies with the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Regulations 2022 (WA) and current Australian Standards.
Every site is assessed and managed with safety at the centre of our planning.

Risk Assessment & Site Planning

Before starting any project, we complete a detailed Risk Assessment and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) to identify hazards and implement effective control measures.

Typical steps include:

Site Inspection & Access Check: ceiling heights, truss condition, scaffolding needs, and material delivery paths.

Hazard Identification: working at height, dust exposure, electrical hazards, manual handling, and overhead obstructions.

Control Measures: PPE, isolation barriers, dust control, safe tool use, and signage.

Toolbox Talks: quick safety briefings held daily or before high-risk tasks.

Client Communication: we discuss any safety concerns directly to ensure everyone on site is informed.

Safe Work Practices

Our work methods are designed to prevent incidents and meet or exceed industry best practice.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): safety boots, high-vis clothing, gloves, glasses, and respirators where needed.

Working at Heights: we use stable platforms, trestles, and scaffolds compliant with AS/NZS 1891.

Tool Safety: all equipment is regularly checked, tagged, and maintained.

Dust & Noise Control: sanding and cutting are performed with extraction systems and hearing protection.

Electrical Safety: live-wire checks, RCD protection, and lock-out/tag-out procedures when required.

Housekeeping: work areas are kept tidy, reducing trip hazards and waste buildup.
