Water damage isn't a paint problem
A brown ring on the ceiling isn't a stain to paint over. It's plasterboard that has absorbed water, lost structural strength, and may already be hosting mould inside the cavity. Painting it traps the problem. The correct repair is removal, drying of the framework above, and a fresh, properly-installed ceiling section.

What we replace, every time
Why we don't repaint water stains
Even with stain-block primer, the underlying board has lost rigidity. Cracking, sagging, and mould return within months. The honest fix is the right one — replace the affected area properly.
